Well, that’s a wrap for another year at the Lighthouse Fall Fair (Harvest & Homegrown FF). It was great to see everyone, and lots of fun with my neighbour friend, Wendy, who always has a table beside me.

Thank you to all my customers who stopped by and took home some new treasures. 😊

Huge kudos to all of the organizers and helpers from BowHorneBay Community Club, a team of dedicated volunteers who continue to work tirelessly throughout the year to bring this 50+ year event to the community. ❤️

These items will be available for sale at the Union Bay Fall Fair on September 20th, 10am to 3pm… unless you would like to purchase before hand. 😉

One more sleep until the Harvest & Homegrown Fall Fair commences!
Artisan Market in the upper field and the Lions Hall 10-4
Cake walk and silent auction will also be in the Lions Hall
Entertainment and food 10-7
Exhibits will be in the Lighthouse Community Hall
Admission is $15 for adults and free for kids 12 and under

I’m not sure if there will be an ATM on site this year, and wifi can be spotty, so make sure you bring cash for food and shopping, just in case.

As I work on finishing one of my exhibits for the Harvest & Home Fall Fair I can’t help but think that the smell of fall is in the air. The crickets have been chirping for the last few weeks, too. Although I love that sound it makes me sad that summer’s end is approaching.
Wendy and I will, once again, have our table spaces in the Lion’s Hall, up the hill behind the Lighthouse Community Hall. This is the same hall that the silent auction and cake walk are held. Wanitta

Working on replenishing to get ready for the Harvest & Homegrown Fall Fair in September.
6 pairs of slippers, with a few more to make, and 42 dishcloths, which I just need to weave the ends in.
My studio is open this week Tuesday through Friday, 11-4.
Just pop in anytime during these hours. Send me a message to arrange an appointment if you would like to visit earlier or later.
My studio will be closed Saturday through Monday.

Thanks to Bobbi who stopped by my studio this morning to pick up a few pairs of slippers and dish cloths. Bobbi is my #1 fan of my slippers. 😊 ❤️

Thanks to everyone who came out to the wonderful She-Sells Market on Sunday. It was lots of fun meeting new, neighbouring vendors.

My next vendor event isn’t until September 5th, which is the Harvest & Homegrown Fall Fair (Formerly named Lighthouse Country Fall Fair), where Wendy and I will, once again, be set up in the Lions Hall up the hill and behind the Lighthouse Community Hall. See poster below for more info.

In the meantime, I will continue to post my drop-in Deep Bay studio schedule to keep everyone up to date.

Just a reminder that my studio is closed until next week. You will be able to find me at the She-Sells Market & Fundraiser event this coming Sunday, July 19th, 10-4 at the Parksville Curling Club for Beach Days. I will be at booth #68 on the site map below. Yes, I am aware that my first name is spelled wrong but whatever. 😉

The first photo below shows my ‘back by popular demand’ wash mitts in new, fun colours. Also pictured are my two donations for the fundraiser. 1) Set of 4 dishcloths and one sparkly scrubby. 2) Set of 3 face scrubbies, 1 soap sack, and 1 wash mitt. I just have to wrap them up.
