I have special little guy coming into my life this spring. I am going to be a grandmother for the first time and I am so over joyed. This project is the most difficult I have ever encountered. I kid you not, I had to start from scratch at least 20 times. I refuse to give up on it. Also due to the yarn being very thick, it took a lot more muscle for it, so I have had many days with swollen and achy hands, from my fibromyalgia.
I won't tell you what it is yet, once I have completed it, all will be revealed. 😉

I was really nervous about making this flower. It is always easy to avoid the hard things. As a growth challenge for myself, I try to face the stuff that looks complicated. Funny thing is they never turn out to be that difficult. Sometimes it is getting over the anxiety to start it is the hard part. Nonce you pass that hurdle, you just have to laugh at the drama in your head. 😉

Last year I decided ro attempt to make a crochet jacket for me. I have never done anything like that before. I have to say not too bad. Wish I took more pics with me in it, but I am a bit camera shy. 😳
It took me 2 months to make but I am excited to wear it again when winter comes.
