Up and running into my third book and adding a guiltless-ish dessert.

I made vegan chocolate zucchini muffins for the family yesterday and am pretty impressed with the outcome. Easy recipe (which I will link to below) and tasty. I made some alterations: peeling the zucchini and opting out of adding chocolate chips, but overall, to the tee.

On the work front: starting to get my bunnies made early to fill orders and have availability for purchase. Before you know it, Easter will be here and, hey, those muffins would be a great dessert piece!

As I block my cardigan, (my least favourite thing to do - even less than weaving in ends), I'm onto my next book and picking up unfinished projects that are crying from my yarn basket.

This wolf, to my Red Riding Hood set, has got some missing appendages in order to grab his prey. Such a cute set from that really deserves to be completed.

Hopefully, my determination to finish books this year will translate to WIPs (work in progress) too. 🤞

Starting off my 2025 with a promise that I would read more. I used to carry a book with me wherever I went - and a notebook to write, but that part of me was shelved with life. Now, I miss that part of my identity. So, first book in and the month isn't over. Not bad for someone who couldn't get through a book in six months.

And, of course, my latest project - a cardigan for me. I am actually making something for myself. Will wonders never cease.

Finally having some down time to post some of the pieces featured at .ca in Cookstown. Such a cozy cafe with some incredibly tasty menu items to munch on as you peruse lovely pieces by local artists.

A collection of my pieces can be found there with some new additions like this sweet polar bear - available for special order in the sweater colour of your choice. Great snuggler, especially in these snowy days.

Just wrapped this sweet little doll after making a replica of a lovely birthday girl. First time making removable clothes and shoes and suddenly my love of playing with dolls has come alive. ☺️ I have a feeling she is going to be going on a lot of adventures!
