Okay so I finally got around to doing dresser converted into a bench (with help lol) I know neutral colors are the safest but I wanted to try something different what are your thoughts on these two colors I really digging the aqua but I'm also really nervous I won't be able to sell if it's not a neutral color. Let me know your thoughts I'm also doing a cushion

I'm absolutely thrilled at how stunning this piece turned out originally this lovely couple had wanted something teal to add a pop of color to their family room the piece had been her mother's who had passed away so she wanted to refinish it to match her current decor, I was super uneasy about doing any metallic colors as they tend to show every blemish aswell as brushstrokes as you can't really sand down the brush Strokes after or it dulls the Finish the last thing I wanted to do is disappoint them in their mothers piece ,but I'm super happy that she insisted on the color because I absolutely love it and I hope her father does as I'm sure her mother would I cannot wait to see pictures of the piece back home

I am so thrilled at how this piece turned out, a lovely couple brought me their late mother's dresser that was handed down and they wanted it to go with the decor of their house , we had a hard time deciding what color originally they had wanted a teal color to add a pop of color to the family room, then they decided on Silver and Gold which I tried to discourage them from doing because these shiny colors tend to show all the blemishes in older pieces but in the end it turned out absolutely stunning I hope her father loves it as I'm sure her mother would have I can't wait to see pictures in its new home

I've had a lot going on lately loosing my job etc... haven't had a chance to refinish anything I haven't even had a chance to post this one that's been refinished so here it is

(Sppu)This vintage Viscol mcm flip top vanity with Dovetail drawers has been refinished in Annie Sloan pure white with a soft grey inside the top with a white tray.She is truly a beauty there is a little bit of fog in parts of the mirror due to its age but I think it goes with the character of the piece personally. It measures 18D 42W 28H additional pictures in comments. It's been waxed and slightly distressed
