Off the rack is built for an average body that doesn't really exist. Whatever fits ends up being a compromise somewhere else, and you pay for alterations anyway trying to close the gap.

Custom starts from your measurements and builds the suit around you. It costs more, but it fits properly and lasts longer, and you stop thinking about it every time you put it on. Most of our clients tell us they wished they'd done it sooner.

Dress codes on invitations cause more stress than they should. Black tie means a tuxedo. Formal means a dark suit. Business formal means a suit, full stop. Smart casual is where it gets fuzzy, but a well-fitted blazer and trousers will almost always land correctly.

Summer is full of occasions where you want to look your best, and a lot of people have something good already hanging in their closet.

If there's a suit or jacket that fits almost right, alterations can often close that gap for a fraction of the cost of starting fresh. It's worth bringing it in and having Pat take a look.
