Should only take approximately:
• 47 print hours
• 12 sanding sessions
• 3 existential crises
• and one sacrifice to the filament gods.

The latest battle-worn Helldivers-inspired helmet has officially deployed. ☠️🔥

This piece was fully 3D printed and hand-finished with multiple layers of paint, real physical battle damage, weathering, scratches, grime, and metallic wear to give it that true “survived the front lines” look.

A LOT of time went into this build, and honestly… the photos barely capture all the little details in person.

⚠️ NEW DROP FROM THE FRONT LINES ⚠️

Just finished this custom Helldivers-inspired helmet and I’m honestly pretty proud of how this one turned out. 🔥

Fully hand-weathered with battle damage, scratches, metallic wear, and a dark visor to give it that “just survived extraction” feel.

3D printed, painted, and finished by hand right here in New Brunswick. Perfect for cosplay, display shelves, gaming setups, or conventions.

🚨 Big news from the workshop! We are winding up the printers for a brand new challenge: building, painting, and finishing one iconic helmet every single month here at Fable Forge Props!

To start things off right, we are tackling the all-time favorite: the classic Star Wars Stormtrooper helmet. 🛠️✨

Printing is already underway on the Bambu Lab, and the print quality off the bed is looking incredibly clean. The smaller details are sitting on the desk ready for assembly, and the dome sections are next in the queue. We are using the incredible files from Galactic Armory to make this build happen!

The Helldivers 2 inspired helmet is moving along nicely.

The yellow stripe is now done, and the silver vents have been sprayed, which finally gives the build that proper “managed democracy, but make it wearable” energy.

Still left to do:

visor add-on
missing front yellow strips
silver rivets
detail colors throughout
side buckles
It’s getting closer, and thankfully it has survived another paint session without becoming a very expensive lesson.

Helldivers 2 inspired helmet WIP update!

We are now adding the yellow stripe details to the helmet. The black base is down, the masking is on, and next step is spraying the stripe area white first so the yellow really pops once it goes on.

Always a little nerve-wracking at this stage… but wow, I hope this turns out as good as it looks in my head.

There’s something awesome about turning a digital idea into something you can actually hold.

All my pieces start as a 3D model and are printed layer by layer, then cleaned up and finished by hand. From helmets to fantasy props, each one is made with care and attention to detail.

Small update from the workshop today 👇

Just finished sanding everything down and got the first layer of filler primer on 💪
It’s one of those steps that doesn’t look super exciting, but it makes all the difference in the final result.

Now it’s drying time… and then tomorrow we go right back at it with more sanding 😅
Smooth finishes don’t come easy, but they’re always worth it.

Slow progress is still progress 🔥
