Another Successful Clothing Swap – Thank You!

Huge thanks to all our amazing volunteers and our partner, — we couldn’t have done it without you guys!

While the admission collected didn’t fully cover our costs (venue, food, supplies, etc.), we’re proud to be donating nearly 10 large bags of clothing to .

We are so excited to annouce our next Clothing Swap event in partnership with .

All proceeds will be donated to Women in Need Society (WINS YYC).

What a better way to declutter and refresh your closet without hurting your wallet and our planet.

Date: Sunday, October 5, 2025
Time: 2:30pm-5pm
Venue: SCA Community Association
Address: 277 Strathcona Dr SW
Entrance Fee: $5 (you can bring a friend for free). Kids 18 and under are free

** How It Works **

1. Clean out your closet. Choose your best pieces that you no longer wear but are still in great condition — the kind of items you’d happily gift to a friend.

2. Check in at the Reception. When you arrive, hand over your items at the reception table. Each piece will be inspected, and you’ll receive a ticket for every item that meets our quality standard. We’ll then hang or display the clothing by category for others to “shop.” For example, if you bring 10 pieces of clothing, we accept 8, we will give you 8 tickets to swap up to 8 “new-to-you” pieces.

2. Fresh finds all day. New pieces will continue to arrive throughout the event, so the selection keeps changing. Stay as long as you like!

4. Enjoy the community vibe. Sip some refreshments, browse the racks, and connect with like-minded people who love fashion and sustainability.

Do Bring:

- 1 to 10 items of men’s or women’s clothing in good, clean condition.
- Any season, any brand, all sizes shoes, accessories, hats, bags, jewelry. School uniforms are welcome

Don’t Bring:

- More than 10 items
- Clothing that is damaged, ripped, stained, or excessively worn/peeling
- Undergarments, swimsuits, bathing suits, nightwear/pajamas
- Kid’s clothing (except school uniforms)
- Shirts with promotional logos, Flip flops

Anything left at the end of the event will be donated to local thrift stores.We’ll be accepting clothing for all seasons, making this a safe, fun, and inclusive swap for everyone.

We’re back again! We are so excited to announce our next FREE Clothing Swap event happening this summer!

Time: 11am-1:30pm
Venue: Bow Valley Building, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint
Address: 2526 24 Ave NW
Admission: Free. No need to register, just show up
Parking: Free parking lot

How it works?

Bring us your clean, gently used clothing and toys and find yourself something new!

Drop the items off at receptions and we will sort them out for you.

There is no limit on how much you bring and how much you take.

Please only bring clean items in good condition, no rips, stains or holes. Toys need to be in good working condition.

Anything left at the end of the event will be donated to local thrift stores.

We will be accepting clothing for all ages and genders, so please join us for this safe, fun and inclusive swap.

Thank you YYC swappers! You did it again!

What an incredible event last Saturday! We had over 250 people came and 1500 pieces of gently used clothes were swapped during our 3 hours event.

We’re back again for the third clothing swap in 2024, and probably will be the last one this year. 😁

We are so excited to announce our next FREE Clothing Swap event In partnership with .yyc.

What a better way to declutter and refresh your closet without hurting your wallet 💰and our planet 🌎.

Date: Saturday, October 19

Time: 1pm-4pm

Place: Trellis Society Bowness Location

Address: #36 7930 Bowness Rd NW

Admission: Free. No need to register, just show up

Parking: There is a big parking lot with free parking! They are located in a strip mall so all the parking in the lot is open

Transit: The bus #1, #40, #53 and #26 are all easy to take to this location.

How it works?

Bring us your clean, gently used clothing, yarns and puzzles. We will be accepting clothing for all ages and genders.

There is no limit on how much you bring and how much you take. However, we will track how many you take home at the end.

Please only bring clean items in good condition, no rips, stains or holes, no missing pieces puzzles.

Anything left at the end of the event will be donated to local thrift stores.

We are so excited to partner with The City of Calgary and The Salvation Army Calgary Glenmore Temple to bring you a FREE Clothing & Small Household Items Swap event.

Date: Saturday, August 10, 2024
Time: 11am-2pm
Location: Glenmore Temple
Address: 68 Avenue SW #921
Admission: Free. No need to register, just show up
Parking: Free parking in church’s parking lot and street parking available
Transit: Route 3 will take you there directly

Free coffee, refreshments and snacks will be available.

How it works?

Bring us your clean, gently used clothing and small household items. Please only bring clean items in good condition, no rips, stains or holes.

Come in and drop off your items at the drop off station, we will have volunteers to help you sort the items and display them by category.

There is no limit on how much you bring and how much you take.

Anything left at the end of the event will be donated to local thrift stores.

Come join us at the largest indoor garage sale this winter! ONE DAY only!

We will be promoting YYC Clothing Swap in this event, but there won’t be any actual swapping. However, we would love to hear your thoughts and ideas if you want to chat about sustainable fashion and more!

Date: Saturday, Feb 17, 2024
Time: 11-3pm
Admission: $1 per person, 18 and under is free
Location: The Community Gym at the (lower level)

All proceeds go to Light4 Disability Society.

Save your gas, come shop 60+ vendors all under one roof!

Household appliances, kitchen items, electronics, men’s, women’s and children’s clothes, jewelry, accessories, sporting good items, books, baby items, toys and much more.
