The power of a team✔️

And this time I don't mean the one on the ice.....
From the home, to the rink and everything in between, life is a team sport. I know our hockey family feels this one deeply. The bond we share is special and like no other sport around.
If I have learnt anything during my time here, it's that life is so much better spent with the people you love and LEAN ON.

And whoaaaa it takes a village my friends.

To the ones that didn't see their name, the ones who had "that" conversation or the ones who just plain didn't...

We feel ya and we're sorry.
We wont tell you that it is not a big deal because we know it is to you.
We know it matters to you and that's ok.

We know it feels heavy right now and it might hurt a little too.
But guess what,
✨WHO✨ you are is so much bigger than all of this.

You don't have to be “chosen” to be a leader, a friend or a dang good hockey player. And even better, you are way too amazing to let others choose how you get to show up tomorrow. ♥️
Live your life with love, honesty and character because we promise those are things that will matter when you are big.

Remember no hockey journey is the same, so honor your own unique path and most important HAVE FUN along the way. 😀
This sport is full of opportunities, lessons and gifts and you don't have to be on that team to see them.

We get that you might not want to believe this right now and that's okay. Take some time to be sad and upset, but only for a bit.

Consider this let down as your sign to dig in, show up, pivot, learn and maybe even use this as a bit of motivation when you are ready to lace up again.
Be proud of your effort, your talent and remember you have so much to offer.
