There is something so special about rummaging around in my fabric and notions scraps, picking out ones that catch my eye, and then sitting down with a cup of tea and some homemade shortbread, and a good movie.

The meditative process of a wandering needed, and a wandering mind, produces some of the most lovely tactile pieces.

Maybe you'd like to learn how to do some hand stitching, Embroidery, and meditative stress free stitching.

Check out the tiny little white bear. He is a rare bear with a big heart.... a little shy, but loves to listen to the story of the 3 bears, read to him.

In the Philippines, resourceful locals and community leaders, are harnessing the power of repurposed materials, filling old blue jeans with sand, to safeguard to safeguard their shoreline communities from water damage.

I love repurposing as many things as I can. Clothing is one of them.
I will go through our closets and find clothing that is not being worn anymore and use it for various sewing projects.

Tuesday, September 30th, is Truth and Reconciliation Day, and it's also my birthday!

Today I had the sweetest little girl come for a visit at Seams To Bee...
Make sure you click on the picture to see this sweet little girl's ribbon dress❤️
Her name is Lydia, and she asked me to help her repair her ribbon dress, in preparation for the special day ahead.

She filled the pockets in her pink sweater, with buttons that caught her eye in the button bowl, and the pink fuzzy bunny took a liking to her, so Lydia was able to adopt her and take her home. Lucky bunny...... even has a new name.... "Fluffy"
Oh what fun we had. ❤️❤️❤️
