Make a fun book cover thing ! I never tried it before so I thought I’d make a video of me actually using my brain. If you can see, you can think backwards. I’m generally a forward thinking lady but in the sewing room, it’s different. Try this. It was fun. You can use old jeans or a piece of felt too. And if you’re getting really scrappy, maybe use cut up hair ties for the elastics. Denim would be a lot easier to work with and you can adjust this for any size of notebook. A fun back to school project. I had to leave the boomer shot of me trying to figure the camera out in the video because it’s funny and shows my age and tech abilities. And the roof is out because a light is going in there !!!! Exciting days are here to stay. Happy sewing.

I made this lace skirt today and God said let there be an awesome sky when you get home from dinner to take a pic of it ! So I did. It’s a really fun and easy skirt pattern that almost anyone with a sewing machine could accomplish. I’ll have to do a tutorial - this is my backyard. Gotta get a pic before the 300 acre data center is on the background 😭 - also no one knows what color my hair is anymore. 🤪 🔥

I like to call it forgetful gardening. I’ve lived here for so long and planted so many different perennials that every year it’s a surprise to see what comes up. Some plants do better than others and a lot barely cling to life. It’s a live or die garden. No post gonna baby you, choose your own destiny because I will plant you in the sandy clay and forget about you until you show up next year. Love you byeeee

We love how these super cute door bows turned out that my daughter and I sewed this weekend ! It was a super fast craft that used minimal fabric and a fleece blanket for the poofy effect! Next time I would double the size 💪🏻❤️

This was a fun surprise digging around for a pattern. A hand me down bin of vintage patterns from my husband’s great aunt had a little flyer in it. So fun and classy. #1970
