Loved making this request a reality! This beautiful cable knit chunky yarn blanket measures approximately 4’ x 5’, which is the perfect size for cuddling up with on the couch! So thankful for the patience that was exhibited when this was delayed due to a family bout with COVID. (Thankfully, we are all better now!). ❤️

Someone from my local community recently gave me her leftover yarn, and with the freezing temperatures I knew exactly what I was going to use it for. I was able to knit this “Frankenstein “ blanket along with a few neck warmers. The blanket has since been gifted to a homeless person in our community, while the neck warmers were added to one of our local free pantries. We will continue to do what we can for those less fortunate. I think these projects not only blessed the receivers of the items, but also me, as it helped my mental health as I got to focus on something other than my own mind, and blessed my children who learned the importance of not only gifting of items, but also of our time.
I’ve since been gifted more yarn, with which I will use to make scarves, neck warmers and hats. I’m hoping to make another blanket when I have the time to devote to it. Big thanks to the community of Hespeler for the wonderful donations!

Being back in lockdown, and back to online schooling, this mama did what she could to make it a little more enjoyable for her gr 1 son! Captain America pillow/cushion with a removable washable cover. It’s the small things that help kids get through these trying times!

I truly hope you all had a beautiful Christmas/Holiday vacation, and were able to look back on 2021 with fond memories. My wish for 2022 is that it brings everyone health, happiness, joy, and laughter. I am ready for a light to shine through the darkness the last 2 years seemed to have brought us all.

Such a lovely hidden pocket infinity scarf headed off to a lovely recipient this week. Her thoughtful daughter in law is always a delight to work with. This was my last order before Christmas, and was such an enjoyable sew.
