I am closing down Faceinators today. The information I have posted here will be saved for future reference to help tell the story of masks during the COVID pandemic.

It's unfortunate that the topic became so political and misunderstood by a vocal minority, especially since late 2021 when everyone was losing patience with the mask mandates and dis/misinformation about vaccines was rife.

Masks and vaccines were designed to work in tandem. Masks were mandated to reduce the possibility of spreading COVID to others, while the vaccine was created to reduce the severity and the possibility of catching COVID, thereby relieving the strain on health care professionals and our hospitals.

Neither was ever touted as the cure-all for COVID - but regardless of whatever someone insists, it has been proven that together, they significantly helped save lives.
