Hello everyone!

For the last few years I have been working at bringing apparel industrial sewing training to Vancouver Island. I have been researching, networking and connecting with fashion professionals and business executives to make this become a reality.

Well it has finally manifested to everything and more I could have ever imagined! We are bringing training to Vancouver Island, starting in Campbell River this fall!

We have the space, the machinery, the timeline, the instructors and the right support from many -now it’s time to apply for funding!

To give this application it’s best chance and to give them an insight to our communities need for more trained sewers, we are seeking letters of support from local industry players with intent to contribute to the growth initiative by potentially hiring participants from the program.

If you are a clothing brand local to Vancouver Island, and are interested in writing a short letter of support and be a part of this great opportunity to ignite this growth initiative please do get in touch for more details.

DM me or email [email protected]

Thank you for your support!
Emily

I’m passionate about the apparel industry, I have been working in the industry for over 20 years in design and development. I couldn’t imagine doing anything more fun for work!

Because of my love for the industry I am also passionate about bringing initiatives that contribute to growing the apparel sector in manufacturing on Vancouver Island.

With that said, I’ve got some big news on the horizon playing right into that and I can’t wait to share it with you! Keep your eye’s peeled here coming soon!
