Ay Lelum-The Good House of Design is a 2nd generation Coast Salish family business creating wearable works of art. Their family home studio is located on the Snuneymuxw First Nation in Nanaimo, BC. It is run by Sisters, Sophia Seward-Good & Aunalee Boyd-Good, featuring artwork by their Father William Good & Brother Joel Good, with garment design mentorship by their Mother Sandra Moorhouse-Good.
Ay Lelum creates wearable art garments that embrace diversity, & are committed to sharing Traditional Coast Salish culture for all people to wear & enjoy. Their clothing is designed with family artwork that is non-ceremonial. They are committed to reducing their environmental footprint by creating Coast Salish Couture pieces in their family home studio, working with local BC manufacturers, & using eco-friendly & natural fibers whenever possible.
