Most orchid root rot isn’t from watering too much —
it’s from roots staying wet with no airflow.
Orchids don’t grow in soil in nature. Their roots expect air, light, and fast drying. When they’re trapped in solid pots or soggy media, rot happens fast.
Fix the airflow and everything gets easier:
• healthier roots
• easier watering
• fewer surprises at repotting
If you’ve lost an orchid and never knew why… this is probably it.
