This is a chance to set aside some time for your creativity, to move forward on that sewing project you always meant to do, to get some guidance if you need it, and have a little fun. More great workshops coming up at GB Arts! Join me on October 19 (1 PM) for Get to Know Your Serger, a great introductory workshop that takes the mystery out of using a serger, and shows you the fantastic things you can do with one!

On October 26, (1 PM), join me for Expand Your Sewing Skills. This is a really fun workshop where we learn all kinds of tips and techniques to make your sewing neater, more professional, and much more rewarding!

The instructor sat with each person individually if needed and was very helpful, ensuring each person learned how to use the serger they brought.

Made to Measure
This class is crucial if you are trying to make your own garments but struggle with patterns measurements, pattern instructions and adjustments. A personal body measurement and chart will help you understand what you need to complete your project and how to fine tune your pattern to fit. For the BEST results you will need to wear comfortable but fitted clothing (T shirt and fitted pants), and bring your own measuring tape.

The facility is fabulous—lots of room to work and move around—washrooms are handy. I loved being able to have a coffee and a snack !! The class was educational and fun!!

One of the joys of this work is having the opportunity to work on such lovely gowns at prom time. So much fun!

And lots of sequins and sparkles left on the floors!
