In recognition of Spring officially here this weekend, I am continuing last weekends ‘20% off all clothing’ sale. This marks the end of winter and the seasonal rebirth of the year. Interestingly, March 20, according to the United Nations has been recognized (since 2012), as the International Day of Happiness highlighting the importance of happiness and well-being as universal goals. It is a global observance encouraging everyone to promote happiness through kindness, social connection and improved mental health. Cheers, everyone! (Friday and Saturday from 12 - 4:30).

This coming weekend, March 13 to 14, MARION’S will be having a ‘flash’ sale of 20% off ALL clothing. (Excludes accessories, except for ALL SHOES). Here are a few pieces on display. We do have a variety of grad gowns, a beautiful 1952 wedding dress (from original owner), Market of Stars ‘pixie dusters’, dresses (can be worn loose or belted) and an Opera duster. Lots of interesting and one of a kind pieces.

Here’s a couple of unique pieces; 1st, a gold ‘saucer’ or ‘ascot’ hat from ‘Eatons of Canada’, labeled as ‘New York import’. It’s from the 1950s and comes with the original hat box. $75. In excellent condition. 2nd; a hand painted leather purse by the local artist ‘Ruby’, which has been varnished and water proofed. Asking $125 for a unique, art piece. (It’s been paired here with a merino wool, Hugo Boss, camel coloured sweater with front and back ‘V’ neck, and uniquely buttoned on the back as well as the front. Size S/M. This is on sale). Also shown, a 1980’s purple leather skirt which I thought set off the painted purse!) You are welcome to come in and see other unique pieces on Friday and Saturday’s from 12 - 4:30.
