I’ve been working on this gorgeous Flamingo Bargello Quilt for a client. It’s an easy pattern but super slow going with lots of matching of seams! 2/3 of the way done…it will measure at 84” X 90”when finished. Thankful to be working with such lovely colors which makes creating the quilt such a joy! Stay tuned in the next few weeks for a picture of the completed Flamingo Bargello! 🦩

A wonderful lady was referred to me with a very special request. She wanted two Bridal garters made for her daughters out of her wedding dress. We chatted and came up with exactly what she wanted. I love doing these projects that are so meaningful to my clients. Used the satin from the dress, the lace from the bottom, added a blue ribbon as requested and took a button from the sleeve of the wedding dress which finished it off perfectly. They turned out beautifully. A Very pleased Mother-of-the-brides!

Had a very special request by a Mother-of-the-bride…to make wedding hankies for the Bride(her daughter) and Groom. The hankie is made from a dress of the Grandmother of the Bride and the heart on the hankie is made from a shirt of her Grandfather. What makes this project extra special is that the Bride lost both of her Grandparents in the year and a half prior to her wedding. What a touching thing for the Bride’s mother to have made for her daughter to to honour her grandparents in this way. I was so blessed to be a part of this project. Such delicate work…total I made 10 girls hankies and 4 boys hankies. ❤️

A friend requested a custom made Bible cover…with leather on the spine. She picked her fabric and with some trial and error I was able to come up with a wonderful cover with inside pockets and a magnetic clasp. It fit her Bible perfectly and she loved it!!

I had another busy Grad season making two Grad T-shirt Quilts! One is the basic T-shirt Quilt with Cotton sashing between the tees and the second one is the Stained Glass Memory Quilt. The Stained Glass Quilt is totally made with the T-shirt material except the borders which makes it quite a bit trickier because of the stretch of the T-shirt fabric. The first quilt that uses the cotton as the sashing, the cotton acts as a stabilizer and prevents the quilt from stretching….much easier!! Very happy with how both turned out! Two very satisfied clients and two very excited Grads!! 👨‍🎓👨‍🎓

Loren and I got a new adjustable King bed so of course I needed a new quilt! Used Slanted Half-Hex pattern and then added borders until it was the right size for my bed! Fell in love with this fabric line by and I’ve saved it in my stash for a few years for a special project! Absolutely love how it turned out! Now to make some pillow shams to match and my new quilt set is complete!! ❤️

Loved taking part in the Stitch Pink sampler quilt-a-long at ! Such a fun quilt to make! Love how it turned out! Thanks to ’s creative idea, I added the white and blue sashing and 9 patches between the blocks to frame them more! It’s definitely become my favorite sampler quilt that I’ve made so far!!

Sewed this beautiful quilt top over a year ago for Valentine’s Day. It was a quilt along with using ‘s heart block. I waited until I was confident in my longarming skills before I quilted it with a heart pantograph. Absolutely love the Buffalo plaid minky I used for backing from . I think this will hold “my favorite quilt” status for a long time!
