Someone asked me in the store the other day, “Is this really back in fashion?”

I just said, “Depends who you ask.”

Afterwards, I realized that’s what I truly love about vintage. It’s not about what’s in style. People who love and appreciate vintage rarely even think about trends , they dress for themselves, for fun, for self expression.

That’s what I wanted this store to be about. Clothing should be fun. It should make you happy. Somewhere along the way, I think we lost a little bit of that.

So dress for yourself today. Be a little out there.

We were inspired by the hand-painted storefront signage you would have seen in the early 1900s, and it turned out even better than we imagined.

Thank you all so much for the amazing clothing! It has been such a great few weeks getting to know everyone and seeing all the treasures you’ve brought in.

For now, we’re closing consignment temporarily while we get caught up. We’ll be reopening again in a few weeks!

Hi everyone! There seems to be a bit of confusion about the shop changing hands, so I just wanted to clear things up.

While I’m very thankful for all of Repeat Boutique’s customers, The Retro Room Vintage is a brand new business. Katherine and I worked together to try to make the transition as smooth as possible and to ensure her customers were taken care of.

Because of that, I will be honouring Repeat Boutique store credit under the following conditions:
• Customers who would prefer cash can redeem their store credit until the end of March.
• Customers who would like to use their store credit in the store can do so until the end of April.

Going forward, anyone consigning with The Retro Room Vintage will sign a consignment contract with me and be set up with an online account to track their credit.

Thank you so much for your understanding and support. Please feel free to share this information with any Repeat Boutique customers who may need it.
