Gustov Klimt’s, “The Kiss”, is one of my favourite paintings of all time. When I first started working, back in my early 20s, I bought a poster and plaque mounted it and still have it. This is a mural jacket, the painting is featured on the back and the front is a simple blazer.

Here's what I'm working on this weekend. Wrap tops are amoung my favourites, Diane von Furstenberg made the wrap dress famous when she debuted it in 1974. Wrap dresses/tops work on most people and if you're up and down size wise, like me LOL, they still fit :)

Here is my latest piece, wearable art/mural, featuring The Great Wave off the Coast of Kanagawa, Hokusai, 1831. This is one of my favourite artists. Some argue that Van Gogh's Starry Starry Night was inspired by this piece. Both incredible artists.

The scarf is from this shop https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/KashmirEmporio/, 'cashmere' comes from Kashmiri...many of you likely know that, I didn't :). Their work is beautiful. I transformed a shawl into this linen top but their shawls are a work of art if you don't like to sew :).

Here is what I am working on. I am reimagining this vintage kimono. There was quite a bit of damage so it was a great price. I pulled it apart and am redesigning it. Traditional kimonos generally require 12 to 13 metres of fabric so if you find one you like for a good price there is lots of fabric to work with. This is painted silk. It will likely take a few weeks to complete but I will post it when it's done 🙂.
