We had a wonderful time yesterday at the Retired Teachers Craft Sale. It's obvious people are enjoying getting out and attending these face to face.(Albeit, a half covered face!)
Sales were brisk and I came home with much lighter totes than I went with(Except for my cash box!)
Thanks to all the customers who not only purchased items but stopped to chat. Loved it!

Here's some photos of items I will have at the upcoming sales!

Good Morning! Well, Covid has certainly put a dent in everyone's Craft business. However, I'm happy to say that I'm starting to get back to a few craft sales this fall. I have lots of things made over the last two years, many of whose pictures you can find on this page. I hope to keep this page a little more up-to-date in the future. Watch for upcoming sales!!!

Happy New Year! I'm sorry that no one has heard from me recently. However, on Nov. 29, 2019, I had complete knee replacement surgery. Consequently, my focus has been on recovery, physio and all the other things that go into the aftermath. I'm now in week 5, starting to walk with a cane and feeling a little more like myself. The upside of this is I've had plenty of time to crochet, getting my inventory ready for the next season. I haven't tried any new things as of yet. It's been enough work trying to replenish my current inventory items. Still lots more to go!! I'll look forward to seeing you at Old Anderson House, when it reopens in May as well as the various craft sales. May everyone have a safe and happy 2020!!

Well, my craft sales for the year wound up on Saturday and they all went very well.

In my last post, I promised I would let you know how the unicorns, dinosaurs and octopus fared. In a word, Smashing! There are no unicorns left (and I could have sold more!) and there is one dinosaur left. I guess they were a hit. As to the octopus, that big bin has exactly 3 left in it. Another hit as well.

On Friday, I will be having knee replacement surgery so I will have 6-8 weeks to work on my inventory. Should have lots of crocheting time there!

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and a safe and happy 2020!

At a recent sale, I was asked by a little girl and boy why I didn't have any felt dinosaurs or unicorns. I didn't have a good answer for them so I came home, found templates and made up a few to try out. Tomorrow, they will be debuting at the 7th Annual Craft/Fine Arts Market of Retired HRSB Staff. (See previous post for details.) We shall see if there are any more dinosaur or unicorn fans out there! I'll let you know how it goes.

On another note, a new item for me this year are small crocheted octopus toys. They have been very popular. This is what my storage basket of them looked like before my first sale of the year. There are 29 octopus here and I thought it was a cute and colorful display all on its own.

There are so many patterns out there and I want to make so many of them.
I will have to live to be 200 if I'm going to make all the things that keep popping up on Pinterest, Ravelry and all the other sites!
