Cut Knife, Saskatchewan raised. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist and storyteller rooted in bluegrass, ’50s rockabilly, and traditional country.

We were raised on gravel roads and kitchen table stories. Stories about the men and women who left young and came back old, and the ones who didn’t come back at all.

They weren’t fighting for governments.
They weren’t fighting for slogans.
They were fighting for each other.
For the man beside them.
For the home they remembered behind them.
For wheat fields, small towns, and the smell of woodsmoke in November.

The prairies don’t forget its sons.
We carry them in our blood.
Today we stand still.
We think of them.
We remember forever.

We’ve been looking for a time and place that no longer exists. The old world slipped away quiet.

But the prairie doesn’t forget. It keeps the stories written in the dust.

And even now, through the smoke and noise, the light’s always just in view, if you choose to look.
