It’s been a minute since I’ve posted anything on here. Sorry, it’s been a busy few months… My son wrapped up his senior year of HS football followed by university tours and applications 🥹, my husband made a career change & launched his new business (Old Steel Restoration and Refinishing), and well I’ve just been very busy both at work & home and have been fitting crochet projects in whenever I can. Yesterday, two of my RTS items went to some happy customers looking to welcome a new baby boy in the new year, and I’m currently working on this Wheat Stitch Snowy Puff hat for someone special to our family (absolutely love the yarn, colour, texture and pattern). Stay tuned for the final result - I can’t wait! 💕

I was originally working this yarn into a granny square hexagon sweater, but was having a hard time finding the motivation to complete it because I wasn’t loving how it was turning out. After months of contemplating finishing the sweater I wasn’t loving (which probably meant I wouldn’t end up wearing it very often, if at all), I decided to FROG it 🐸 (rip it out… “rip it, rip it”), and start something new! I am now working on a hooded vest for the fall, and love the way it’s beginning to work up. Here’s a sneak peak of the way it’s starting out…

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to post an update since there haven’t been many posts over the past few months. I’ve been a bit preoccupied working on some professional development courses 📚, backyard reno’s 🔥🌿, hosting my parents 50th wedding anniversary party 🥂, and cheering my son and his Junior Mustang teammates on during their summer football season 🏈🏟️!

I am currently working on my last course, and my son’s football season will be wrapping up later this month as they are currently heading into the Ontario Championship semi-finals next weekend.

Thank you for being patient… I’m hoping to get some new projects done before summer’s over, so please stay tuned!! If you have ideas of crocheted items you’d like to see next, please share your ideas in the comments below 💕
