Hi everyone. I wish I had good news and stock updates , but my production is two months delayed - unfortunately my number one seamstress hasn’t been working so I had to pause the production until I find someone as good as her. The lack of stock has been very frustrating and I apologize for that. Hang in there. Beautiful things are coming. Thank you so much for your support always!

The Viva Collection was a long time coming. I finally started a small production with my favourite Rifle Paper fabrics - you can read everything about it at atelieroficio.com

More prints are coming in May - the plan was to have them available in the beginning of May but unfortunately the production is delayed… I hope you stick with me and that I can continue to bring you beauty in different shapes, colours and forms of art.

PS 1: I haven’t changed the name here on Instagram quite yet, it’s a bit hard after this long to let go of Dreaming with Isa I suppose, but I’ll be updating the name of the account to Atelier Oficio soon enough, so when you start seeing it in your feed you’ll know who it is.

AtelierOficio.com is officially launched! And ‘Viva’ is our opening project. I created this collection during my last visit home to Brazil, where, looking through my old notebooks and clothing from my past, I found a very special dress o designed and made when I was just 18. The Passaro Dress - the flagship item in the Viva Collection - is a reimagining of that charming 70s inspired dress I made so many years ago. It’s timeless, versatile, rather unique and feels wonderful to wear.

Many of you have been loyal customers of 'Dreaming' (as we called it informally) over the past 5 years, and I'm happy to welcome you all to its reincarnation: Oficio.

Meaning 'craft' in my native Portuguese, Oficio is a word carrying great meaning and importance for me, especially at this pivotal point in my life and creative journey. Craft, by definition, refers to the art of making something with technique and skill.

This is the foundation on which Oficio is being built; giving attention to quality, craftsmanship, aesthetic and most of all, process.

12 straight hours, 23 pieces and 2 zippers. That’s how involved this chain crossbody bag was. I have absolutely no idea how I had the patience and perseverance to assemble it so calmly, but here we are; it’s exactly how I envisioned it. My sewing room really is my happy place today.
