Well, I completed hemming up the long dress, with it's sheer, sparkling material over the dress. I also lengthening the side split per the owners request. She will look grand at the wedding she will be attending.
I have completed the bench cover and cut off 2 pants into shorts as there was some massive holes in the knee. I have not stared the hammock repair as I am waiting for materials.
This means tomorrow I start on the queen size quilt to be made out of a child's clothing. Yes Sherry, this is for you and will be sending photos as I proceed.
Enjoy the reminder of the Carnival. I do hope the rain will go away till it is over.

Can you believe July is almost over? It just flew by. I have been busy with 4 days of VBS Sports Camp for my granddaughters, home summer schooling them a couple hours a day (during the week), one day at the local library, church on Sunday and still completing mending for the family. I just completed mending a hole in a pair of shorts, tomorrow will complete a knit cover for a storage bench, starting to hem a beautiful full length dress, plus mending a hammock. My plan is this weekend is to start a double size quilt out of boys cloths and blankets.
Whew.😅ðŸĪŠ
Can still fit in other small jobs in between, so do not hesitate in getting in touch with me.
Also, waiting for drywall to dry out so I can get the one part of my wall repaired. The on going leak was a few cracks in the roof sew boot. It has been fixed.
I pray your month has been going well.

Hi everyone,
Well first the leak has stopped but they can not figure where it was coming from.😏 So I have drywall gone in my room, buckets waiting till it leaks again.
So tonight and again tomorrow I am mending my youngest granddaughters (Ruby, age 4) favorite night gown. Was just going to remove the mesh from both sides but decided to stich the runs up. She really will not notice and will be very happy.

Hi everyone, It has been a busy week. We had a water leak that came in to my room. No real damage but can not figure out where the water came frim as it has stopped. So I am keeping my eyes on that and have placed 2 buckets.
I have completed opening the front of a blouse that had a zipper back and hemmed up 3 more curtains. Next I have a hammock to restring.
I am open for more mending, alterations or quilting.

Replaced loops on prom dress as one had broken and some others were weak.
