Maggie M Tailor is now selling our second batch of non medical reusable cloth masks! The masks come in a variety of sizes, colours, patterns, and styles. The masks shown in these pictures are our pleated-styled masks but you can also make most colours and patterns into our fitted-styled masks with the exception of a few fabrics. These masks sell for $15 dollars per mask or $12 dollars per mask when you purchase 4 or more!
Features:
-You can insert a regular medical mask within our non medical reusable cloth masks either on the bottom or the sides of the masks.
-The average male head size is somewhere between 22-24 inches, the average female head size is 21-23 inches, the average head size for youth ages 5-17 years old is 20-22 inches, and the average head size for toddlers and babies ages 0-4 years old is 18-20 inches. The masks size is half the length of the average head size for those respective age ranges and genders.
-Our masks also have an 1 inch allowance on both sides of the elastic band on each side of the ear so that you could make the masks looser by 2 inches on each side of your head. Therefore, the masks can become a lot looser if you have a larger head size and you could also make the elastic bands tighter if you have a smaller head size.
-The masks are created for the largest head size of it’s respective age and gender group. Therefore the masks run a little bigger than average to account for those who have a larger head size. If you have a smaller head size than average, we would recommend sizing down so that you would have a mask that is well fitted. Ex. My mom has a smaller head size and she sized down from the Adult Women sized masks to the Youth masks which fits her perfectly!
Measurements:
-Adult Men Sized Masks are 14.5 inches long from ear to ear. The face mask itself is roughly 7.5 inches long by 3 inches wide.
-Adult Women Sized Masks are 13.5 inches long from ear to ear. The face mask itself is roughly 7 inches long by 3 inches wide.
-Youth Sized Masks are 12.5 inches long from ear to ear. The face mask itself is roughly 6.5 inches long by 2.5 inches wide.
-Baby and Toddler Sized Masks are 18-20 inches long from ear to ear. The face mask itself is roughly 5.5 inches long by 2.5 inches wide.
Care:
-The masks are already prewashed and predried in the washer and dryer prior to sewing to prevent shrinkage.
-Please wash the masks after purchasing as they have been handled buy our seamstresses before use.
-The fabrics are made with 100% linen, cotton or wool so that the masks are light and breathable.
-The masks need to be hand washed every time after a single use so that it will be effective. If you do not wash the masks every time after using, it defeated the propose of wearing a masks as you are spreading the germs, bacteria, and viruses that mask has collected onto your face.
