I purchased a few special yarns from before Christmas and hung on to cast them on! This is my second FO the watch cap hat in their 100% yak yarn. First time knitting with yak, it feels as soft as cashmere 🩷🩷🩷
Watch cap hat is a free pattern on their website. This is the second time I’ve knit this pattern and I find it very big. I knit the child size and could have made it smaller. I used just over one 50g skein.

I tried the Turkish cast on for the first time which was fun.
Yarn: worsted weight. I LOVE knitting with this yarn. It’s wooly wool and the lanolin feels so nice on the hands.
Needles: size 4

I have to find my notes with all the details but it’s knit with and a hand dyed fi*****ng weight. I bought the kit from back in the spring! I did helical knitting for the body. I added length. I don’t normally knit with Superwash yarn so it green a bit more than I had anticipated but I still love the final result!!!!

This was a fun summer knit! I had a lot fun choosing the colours for the stripes. I was going for a 70’s retro vibe! The perfect lightweight tee for over dresses on cooler summer evenings!
