Crystal Creations of Niagara Handcrafted Jewelry Growing up I often fell asleep to the steady rhythm of my mother's sewing machine. As a little girl I would watch her paint in absolute awe.

I wasn't in awe of the homemade clothes anymore, though, when I was the only grade 7er that didn't own a pair of jeans. But the seed was planted and oh, what fun it was to experiment in sewing and stitching, knitting and drawing, and of course, I had to make those wonderful macrame owl necklaces and plant holders. But real jewelry? I had no idea that was a possibility. It actually began with my te

n year old daughter's enthusiasm to learn macrame and we made many chokers and key chains and bracelets together. It evolved into stringing and a whole new world began to blossom for me. Crystal gets creative once in a while still but the adventure has taken on a life of it's own for me. Between my love for her and the famous Swarovski crystal I just had to name our little venture "Crystal Creations". The "of Niagara" is really of necessity to make our shop unique. Niagara is beautiful wine country in Ontario, Canada and Pelham (where we live) is in the heart of it. From ice wine and grape and wine festivals to the "Falls" and some wonderful horse country it is truly a beautiful area.
