I have been on a journey all my life with this woman. I have loved her and I have hated her. I have treated her worse than I would ever treat anyone else.
I have allowed her to be broken. I have allowed her to heal.
I have allowed others to treat her disrespectfully.
I have seen her fall and STAND BACK UP many times, and be a light for the world, loving others despite all of it.
She has been bullied and she has bullied. She has been called crazy.
She has stood paralyzed by fear and sorrow, while she fought battles in her mind, heart, and soul.
This woman has made many bad decisions as a human, daughter, wife, sister, mother, and as a friend.
She has trusted and believed in people who did not believe in her.
She has a smart mouth, a stubborn streak, and is a bit feisty, but she has a loving and caring heart.
She has scars, combat wounds, wrinkles, and gray hairs.
She has hidden in times of deep loneliness and in times of deep joy.
Some people love this woman, some like her, and some don't care for her at all.
She has done good in her life, and she has done not so good in her life.
Every mistake, failure, trial, disappointment, betrayal, success, joy, and achievement has made her into who she is today.
She is not perfect, but she is unstoppable, gracefully broken, and beautifully standing.
…and she will never stop growing, working to be better and moving forward. She has learned many things about herself and continues to learn.
She is ME. 💗
