Do I need a bigger shoe if I wear orthotics?

Not necessarily - but your orthotics can change how a shoe fits.

An orthotic takes up space inside a shoe and can affect the overall fit, including the depth and width you may need. In some cases, you may need a different size, but sometimes the right shoe style and shape can make all the difference.

That's why it's always a good idea to try shoes on with your orthotics.

Bring them with you when you're shopping, and we'll be happy to help you find a shoe that works comfortably with both your feet and your orthotics. 👣

One foot is bigger than the other. Now what?

If one foot is slightly larger than the other, don't worry - you don't necessarily need two different sizes!

We recommend fitting the shoe to your larger foot, then looking at ways to fine-tune the fit on the smaller foot.

Depending on the shoe and the difference between your feet, choosing the right style and shape of shoe, along with the appropriate insole or footbed, can help create a more secure fit.

The goal isn't simply to find the right size - it's to find the right fit for both feet.
