I’m so excited to share that the collection will officially launch Saturday, May 9 at The Black Cat Bazaar ✨

It feels extra special to return to the market scene for an event supporting Carma + local kitties 😻

And yes… the pieces may or may not be named after cats. 🐈‍⬛🐈

Things I made last week:

1. Buckwheat Meditation Cushion

I’m at the very end of my buckwheat husks so this might possibly be the last one I’ll make to sell?! I was asked to make this by a good friend of mine as a last minute Christmas gift. She asked for blue so I was thrilled to upcycle a curtain I thrifted and already had in my fabric inventory. I absolutely love the way the sheen of the fabric looks in the candle light. ✨✨✨

2. Upcycled Boxer Shorts

I’ve been working on nailing the pattern fit and choice of elastic. This pair was a gift for my partner for our one year anniversary of dating 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨 These boxers are actually made from his old shirts that he didn’t wear anymore and that we removed from his closet after doing a Closet Cleanse back in the summer. This might be the most colorful thing he owns. 🤭

3. Alpine Denim Jacket (X2)

The client that purchased the Alpine Jacket from me last fall, gifted it to her partner for Christmas and unfortunately it was too small for him ☹️ Thankfully, she bought him a bigger jacket and reached out to me to see if I could move the logo to a new jacket. I could and I did 😁 Stoked that the couple loved the original jacket and design so much and happy I was able to recreate it and make things work for them!

One of my goals for 2024 was working more efficiently and improving my turn around time. The first week of 2025 is off to a good start! 🤗
