This quilt started in the late 70's early 80's when mother ordered the kit from a catalogue. She started to embroidery them and finished 2 before life took over.
They set in a dresser drawer until mom passed 5 years ago. I brought them home thinking perhaps my mother in law would finish them and make a quilt. Well she finished them and gave them back to me the following christmas. It took a while for me to decide how I would put it together. When I finally finished the piecing I took it out to Beaverdam Quiltery and my good friend Penny Bubar custom quilted it for me. How blessed I am to have so many wonderful women in my life ❣

This is one of the lilies my sister in law shared with me couple of years ago. I didn't get a picture of the yellow one bloomed this year, but it was also beautiful.The white rose that sits in between the lillies bloom earlier .....they also were spectacular.
