Finale piece for the 28th Annual NBCCD Fashion Show. Sometimes I get an idea that needs to be brought into existence. I love designing. It’s a vital part of who I am. Every piece teaches me something new, either in technique or about myself. This particular piece realigned me with myself and my goals. Thank you Olivia Jaymes for being such an amazing model and bringing my design to life. 🖤

Some photos from the 28th annual NBCCD Fashion Show! 💕
This was the first year I wasn’t crazy nervous. I was excited. I also went out on the runway, which I rarely do. Most of the time you’re lucky to get a glimpse of me pop out for a split second. My models this year were the best and I am beyond happy with how it all turned out. Thank you, ladies! And thank you to everyone who continues to show support for me and my brand. 🫶

Tell me you like strawberries without telling me you like strawberries….🍓
I Made this dress for the NBCCD fashion show, back in April. I am not sure how I found the time, but I had to make myself something. I have been the busiest I have ever been and I am thrilled about it. I’ve been working my butt off for years to reach my goals. Yes, balancing things have been a struggle because my cup definitely runeth over, but I am so thankful for the work, the clients and the freedom to be creative and design. 🫶💕

I’ve always loved polka dots. They’re fun and classic. So, time for a few fun fashion facts about Polka Dots!

-This pattern received its name from the mid 19th century polka dance craze.
-Made popular in the 20th century by Christian Dior and Minnie Mouse , and became a staple in pin-up fashion during the 1950’s and 60’s.
-Often spotted (😉) on starlets like Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn.
-In the UK it’s often called “spot print” and in France, “pois”.
