Happy National Telecommunications Week to all of my fellow dispatchers! 💛💙❤️
The public will never understand the true impact that this job has on us. The long hours, missed holidays, birthdays, and life events. The trauma, the horrors and the screams that our ears take in that would haunt normal people. The sacrifices we make to always show up as the calm voice on the other end of the phone and radio often go unseen.
To my fellow dispatchers, I see you. I see your dedication, your endless sacrifices, and the unhealthy amount of caffeine that keeps you going when you want to give up. Thank you for your service and never forget how amazing you are💛
