Ok I'm making the Marsten coat from Cashmerette and is decided i wanted a zip pocket and I thought, heck why don't I just add it into the back of the existing pocket!

I was just making s**t up..... it turned out fine..... but I don't think I'm capable of pulling this off a second time.....

Also it has become quite a heavy pocket.........

I'm worried if I don't repeat my jacket will feel weighted on one side 🤦‍♀️ lol sigh... this is fine, chaos for the win

I inherited a bunch of sew in interfacing and I am not super familiar with using it. So you know I did the Google, and it was simple, just baste and sew as normal.

When you baste around the edges like any sewing, it's super easy for the top piece to shift away etc. So I was getting mismatched pieces or wrinkling. It wasn't the end of the world just annoying.

Finally today or occurred to me to just glue it 🤦‍♀️ we do this all the time! It's just temporary, but it helps get a nice baste, and it's cheaper than the more permanent adhesives.

Anyway, made this step waaaaaayy less frustrating, so that's a win 😎.

I moved again, and things have finally slowed down and gotten put away enough to actually do things!

I haven't done any sewing in over a month! (Which is wild for me)

I made a shirt and now are working on more work pants.

This fancy new setup I have let's me walk all the way around my cutting table and it is excellent.
