In addition, I offer a Sewing Machine Cleaning & Oiling service to help anyone with a desire to sew! I began sewing when I was having my children. I came from a home where my Mom was a fantastic seamstress. She made her own wardrobe, our clothing and so much more. I didn't necessarily appreciate her talent when I was a kid but I sure appreicate her creativity and talent as I look back. In 2014 I h

ad a stroke. I painstakingly worked hard to sew again. I can't quilt as much as the picture I have inside my head gets mixed up and I can't replicate it but I can do other things. I never would have thought I'd enjoy and be good at putting in zippers! lol So many people who sew avoid any sewing involved with zippers, buttons and those type of things. I suppose I like doing them because they are a challenge. I enjoy making home decor items and put them in the markets or sell them to those who want them. I use high quality base products because using poor quality doesn't change the amount of time sewing, it only looks poorer and doesn't last as long. The Hanging Towels I make are made with Martha Stewarts towels. They last for years...I know because they're in my kitchen too. The same goes for my Aprons of all styles, kids clothing & aprons, table runners to mention a few. I enjoy sewing and I make things because I enjoy it. Taking them to the markets is a good way for my hobby to earn a little to pay for it. I hope you enjoy my products.

Hi there folks! As you can see, I've had my knee replacement surgery. I will not be doing any sewing for a bit. if it's not urgent, like wanting clothes done for early autumn then feel free to drop it off. Keeping your Sewing Machine cleaned and oiled is so important. They're a big investment into your hobby so take good care of her!! If you want to have it cleaned and oiled by us, then here's what we do: * Clean the lint and thread that is stick in the nooks and crannies of the bobbin case and lower area, the upper are with the
take up lever.
* Once, cleaned then oiling all moving parts in these areas.
* Assessment of the various parts to ensure they are functioning well
* Thread and put in bobbin, then sew with the machine to determine stitch quality
We can also do the following:
*Adjust the tension to create a quality stitch for your projects
* Repair the hook timing
* Complete some other repairs depending upon parts availability.
