Whisk boutique Stay at home mom trying to stay sane by doing some side projects for others. I have been sewing for over 20 years and love making kids clothes.

After selling my bakery in Steveston to stay on the Sunshine Coast full time with my husband and 2 kids I find myself needing projects to keep sane. I still bake for my family and take orders through Bell's Bakery BC but needed more variety in my activities. A few years ago I started using Doterra essential oils for my family and am happy to use these pure therapeutic grade essential oils in all bath and body products I make.

I'm hoping that if I start sewing for summer, the weather will move in my favored direction.
These are The Play Short, and I'm planning to get a stack of them sewn up along with some bike shorts and other items to finally do a couple markets this spring/summer. They are, of course, also available by before then by dm.

Whats on your table today? My daughter has a couple birthday parties coming up so I decided I should just cut out a little stack of shorts since it is FINALLY starting to get warmer out!

And also, am I right? This has been an odd week for us. I've been so tired this week, not sure why but I've been going to bed an hour early every night then 2 hours early last night. We had a spiritual cleansing at our home, which was pretty heavy. My son had a major meltdown this morning just as we were about to head out the door to school and I ended up having to stay there with him for an hour to settle him. Hence the that is also on my cutting table.

I forgot all about this fabricthat I bought years ago. It's so pretty so I thought I'd try it out on a pair of shorts for my littlest lady. I did a lettuce hem on them to add a little extra detail. I want some for myself now!
