Unique to the sandy shores of Lake Huron, fossilized Brachiopods, aka Butterfly Stones are the essential symbol of a Lake Huron Summer.

I’ve spent many happy childhood hours on the sandy shores of Lake Huron hunting for these. Good memories of my grandparents & parents walking the beach to help me find them. Now they are very rare & hard to find on our beach so I count myself lucky when I do. Each one represents a memory of a loved one.
