Your wedding floor plan can either make your event feel seamless… or like complete chaos!

Most people don’t realize how much goes into it a floor plan. Like:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• making sure there is space to stay around the bar so guests aren’t hanging out in front, creating a line
• leaving enough room for servers to move smoothly so dinner can stay on tray
• knowing the location of air vents and drafts so florals & candles are protected
• knowing where outlets are for the DJ, band, candles, & lighting... and knowing how cords will be run and hidden
• making sure chairs can actually pull out comfortably when guests are seated

It’s getting warmer, summer is (almost) here you may have noticed that we have been posting about coastal weddings more than usual! We just LOVE a coastal beach vibe, but that doesn’t have to mean teal, starfish and literal sand.

Finding your wedding aesthetic can be hard… we want to lean into what feels most like YOU.

• Romanic lighting changes the entire mood of the room.
• Getting quality & textured linens to make everything feel more elevated (& no see through standard linens!)
• Florals in the RIGHT places, not necessarily more florals (& florals that can be reused at the reception, bar, cake table, etc)
• Chairs!! Yes, people notice them. Chairs are one of the first things people will notice when they walk in. Trust us, it’s worth it.
• A great floor plan! This makes the whole event flow better & helps guests feel comfortable.

The tricky part is, there’s a lot open to interpretation. We love our vendors and they do an amazing job reading between the lines, figuring out your vibe, your priorities, and which elements matter most to you!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sometimes quotes come back higher than expected, not because anything is wrong, but because the board included something like premium blooms or elevated designs that weren’t necessarily the priority.

Instead of filling the space, we focused on a few intentional pieces; taper candle sticks for that soft glow, petite white & green florals, black rimmed plates, & white chairs to brighten the space even more!
