Welcome to ThreadEthic Organic Sewing Boutique! I started this business with a desire to make darling, timeless and practical baby clothing using organic & sustainable materials. Here we are, 6 years later, and my desire remains the same but the method is changing! "Loved Clothes Last" is a phrase I hear often and wholeheartedly agree with. I am now offering custom sewing and alterations to help y

ou achieve a wardrobe that you love. From hemming pants to bespoke clothing and everything in between, I want to help you look and feel your best. Some of my services include:

I am happy to announce my first sewing class😄

*You will need to have your own sewing machine for this class*

We will go over machine set up, sewing terminology and techniques so that you feel comfortable and confident with your sewing machine!

In class we will be making an envelope throw pillow cover in any size you choose.

When you register you will receive a supply list to gather and bring with you to class.

The cost includes fabric from my own collection or you can choose to purchase your own fabric to bring along. This information is on the supply list for you as well.

I want to thank you all so much for the incredible patience and care during the last few months. Every message and kind word has meant so much to me❤️The last half of 2025 hit me like a ton of bricks 🧱( if I can be perfectly honest). As we navigated some heavy health concerns with our loved ones, everything else in life needed to pause for a time.

I am happy to announce, though, that after a restful Christmas holiday, I'm ready to be back in the sewing room!
Thank you again for all the support and I look forward to sewing for you soon🪡

That's a wrap for our grad/bridal season and I had so much fun getting to meet all the beautiful grads and bridesmaids and see the gorgeous colours and styles of dresses. Corsets and sequins were definitely the stars!! I'm already looking forward to next year where I will remember to take a picture of each dress🤣💗

I will be on holidays from July 12-26, if you need anything in that time just send a message and I'll get back to you when I'm back to work😊

My customer came to me with a great idea but a super tight deadline. She and her mom had made this beautiful ribbon skirt but she wanted a shirt to wear with it. She had the white top which fit her well but she never wore it. So I extended the top with fabric matching the skirt and sewed on the matching ribbons. It was a whirlwind of a day but I got it done in time and she loved the results ☺️

Did you know you can just swap out a broken snap back for a new one? I sure didn't 🤣 I mend all sorts of things but had never thought about mending hats until my customer asked if I could do it. So I said sure why not🤷🏼‍♀️ You definitely need a heavy duty sewing machine for this mend, but what a great way to keep a favourite hat in your collection!

It has come to my attention that the general, non-sewing public do not infact share my obsession with fabric.
Shocking as this revelation is, I do understand and am here to help🤣😘
