Geekorium 2026 -COLE HARBOUR PLACE! June 27/28

Let the announcements begin! First up, a GUEST whose work is greatly admired in our community cosplay circles!
~ NIGHTELF! BIO HERE-------------->
Nightelf a 64 years young cosplayer hailing from Halifax NS. What began as a passing hobby creating costumes for my children when they were young, turned into an obsession where I found my joy through fabric and foam and cosplaying the characters I love no matter what the genre may be.

I can’t say I have a favorite fandom, but I tend to lean towards Sci Fi and Fantasy and of late Anime. Lord of the Rings has always been my favorite book and movies. Radagast was first introduced at Geequinox in 2018 and was part of our Halcon Lord of the Rings group where I made 5 of the costumes. Demon Slayer and Frieren are my favorite Animes and in 2025 I created Inosuke and Frieren.

I’m a gamer and my go to MMORPG is World of Warcraft. In 2024 I finally finished and debuted my Kael’thas. It took me over 600 hours to make the armor. All EVA foam, which is my favorite material to work with and hand painted. To date it is my most loved cosplay.

Other costumes I have created are: Bilbo from The Hobbitt, Eowyn, Faramir, Theoden, Eomer, Steampunk Star Trek, Nightelf White Lantern, Prince Purple Lantern.

Creativity has no expiry date!
