This is of course the final step before the hem is pinned. I will always go through the options with my brides, as I do love a train and a bustle. But at the end of the day, it's your wedding and your gown, and I as a bridal alterations specialist will make sure you feel and look your best according to your vision! 🪡

Custom work is a long process, and a great test of patience, respect, and trust! I am forever honoured to have worked with this bride. She came to me with a vision of an A-line gown with pleats and a plunging neckline, and worked with me to create a little extra detailing to the back bodice to keep this gown unique to her! 🪡

Made for Sara, incredible woman and owner of local business Boutique Linen Label | Fashion Education perfectly to her measurements, from fabric she sourced right from her home country. Her patience, excitement, and pride in her morals and ethics rang clearly throughout our time together and we both couldn't be happier with the result!! 🪡

There are a few projects that I will simply never stop talking about, because I had so much fun working with the bride and bringing their vision to life. This was one of those projects! ✨
She brought in her mother's vintage gown to be repurposed as her reception look. She is a dancer, so she needed great coverage and movement for the whole night.
🪡 We removed the sleeves and neckline while still preserving the applique and detailing on the back of the neck.
🪡 We strategically added satin straps and raised the waist slightly to flatter her tall figure.
🪡 Biggest job of all, we shortened the skirt to a hi-low and completely removed the train! All the beautiful vintage applique on the skirt hem and the train itself were placed delicately back onto the gown.
Victoria Black I will forever be thankful for the trust and patience you and your mom had in bringing this to life!

Many congratulations to the incredible Victoria Black on her wedding! I am honoured to have been given not one, but three amazing projects from her to get ready for her beautiful day!
✨ I created a custom bodice overlay for her ceremony look, as well as a ballroom bustle.
✨ She gave me her mother's wedding gown that I completely restructured for her to wear as a reception dress.
✨ As a secret third project, I made and customized a robe with the remainder of her mother's wedding gown appliques as a wonderful keepsake for her mom!
Working with her was a wonderful experience, and I wish her and her new husband nothing but the best!

Another custom sleeve leaving my studio! This bride didn't like the existing Juliette sleeves the gown came with, so we preserved the appliques and sourced some matching tulle to create these effortless off-shoulder sleeves! 🪡 Bride is in love with them, and so am I!
