Rivers End Quilting promises quilters and visitors to Cape Breton a full range
of quilting services and supplies in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Rivers End Quilting is one of Cape Bretons ONLY FULL SERVICE quilt shop. Our
goal is to ensure our customers feel at home and we strive to make sure you have
all the inspiration and supplies you'll need to complete your project. We hope to inspire

our customers to try new projects and techniques with a full
selection of fabric (over 1500 bolts), samples, kits, notions, books, patterns,
classes and retreats. We are a Premier Husqvarna Viking sewing machine dealer( #1 Dealer in Atlantic
Canada 2009 & 2010) and we offer long-arm quilting services courtesy of
"AnnaBelle" our Gammill longarm quilt machine and our other long-arm, “Baby Belle”. Rivers End Quilting is located on Route 4, just 9.6 km from Sydney, in beautiful Howie Center. We are located across the street from the storage units and the first driveway passed Floral Heights Drive (if you’re coming from Sydney). Outdoor seating available for those who want to wait for their significant other to do some shopping ;)

Join us on June 4 & 5 at Rivers End Quilting as we create this beautiful butterfly pillow while learning the art of free motion quilting!

This project is perfect for quilters wanting to build confidence with free motion techniques in a fun, relaxed, hands-on class. While the pillow itself doesn’t require two full days to complete, the weekend will focus on practicing and improving your quilting skills — and you’ll leave with a stunning finished project you’ll be proud to display at home.

Whether you’re new to free motion quilting or looking to sharpen your skills, this class is a wonderful opportunity to learn, create, and enjoy a weekend of quilting inspiration.

Just a reminder that the shop will be OPEN today and tomorrow, but we’ll be CLOSED on Saturday for the Victoria Day long weekend.

Easter Weekend Hours
Just a quick note to let everyone know that we’ll be closing for the Easter weekend to give our wonderful staff some well-deserved time to relax and enjoy with their families
We will close at 4:00 PM on Thursday
And reopen on Tuesday at 9:00 AM
While we’re usually open on Saturdays, we’re taking this opportunity for a little spring break.

Our Spring session of Open Sewing/Embroidery classes start today!! There is still availability for some classes. This is a great way to meet fellow quilters and work on new projects or finish up some of your old UFO’s. Always a helping hand by our wonderful staff to guide you through your questions.
