🐒💛 Memory Sock Monkeys 💛🐒

This week I had the honour of creating 10 sock monkeys made from a loved one’s own socks and dress shirts. Each little monkey is wearing a tiny shirt made from his clothing — a piece of his story stitched into every one.

Seeing them all together like this just melts my heart. 🧵✨
It’s a reminder that memory keepsakes don’t have to be just bears. There are so many beautiful ways to hold onto someone you love.

I made this little cutie from a dog blanket in memory of Savannah, a beloved chocolate Lab. She is deeply missed, and I hope this brings her owner a bit of comfort on his birthday.

Last night I was sewing a birthday gift (a doll carrier and diaper bag) for my daughter’s friend and honestly thought my sewing machine had decided to challenge me to a duel. I was squinting, re-threading, muttering, breaking needles…

Then I decided to put a movie on while I was sewing, and I usually wear my glasses to watch on my computer screen. So I put my glasses on and suddenly sewing got a whole lot easier too.

Turns out it wasn’t my machine. It was… me.
Sewing magically got 1000% easier.

So if anyone needs me, I’ll be over here wondering what else in my house I’ve been blindly crafting through.

Hello everyone!
It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted here. Over the last few years, life at home needed my full attention, so sewing had to be put on pause. I know the page has been quiet, but I’ve truly missed creating and sharing my work with you.

Things have finally settled enough that I can start easing back into sewing again, and I’m excited to bring this space back to life — especially with Christmas coming. ❤️✨

Anyone become a mom in 2004 and would like this sweater?? I made it for myself (shocking) but It's a bit too small for me. The size says XL its george brand, but it fits more like a Large on the smaller end of the Large scale.
Since it was a practice - I'd like to get $20 for it (these go for $50-60 on etsy)

Good morning. I will be shutting down the page after today. Due to illness in the family, I will no longer be making memory bears, My time is very limited being a mom to many and now having to take care of one of them in a much different way, my focus needs to be on my family at this time. I truly appreciate all the love and support over the past ten years. I have enjoyed creating, learning and growing my skills as a seamstress. I hope one day to be able to open up shop again.
That being said, I have a few items that I have made for gifts that were either too small or too big that I will be posting in the comments. If you are interested in an item please comment and I will let you know details (cost and shipping).
