I represent Silver Icing because I am a big believer in our excellent quality clothing made mostly i So where did it all begin? Like a ton of bricks.

In a wee little basement in the home of Christina Marcano. Christina started in the clothing business over ten years ago when she co-founded an active wear company called Skyler Clothing. Skyler grew quickly and by 2008 they had three stores over two-hundred wholesale accounts and regular appearances on the Shopping Channel and then…the recession hit. The company started to spiral out of control a

nd as a last ditch effort Christina went to pitch her case on CBC’s the Dragons Den. The response was phenomenal. She received an outpouring of support but after a bit of soul searching she realized Skyler wasn’t her true dream. She closed Skyler down and headed back to her basement where she got to work building her true dream - Silver Icing. An amazing brand that offers comfy chic clothing that won’t break the bank. In 2013 Silver Icing launched and is now a thriving online shop with a network of independent stylists. As a young mom, Christina knew how important a work life balance is. She was tired of driving 2 hours a day back and forth from work. She loved being able to make her kids lunch or take them to a park on a sunny afternoon. Being a stay at home working mom was exactly what her family needed and it is from this experience that she committed to building a company that other moms and women could be a part of. Her greater vision is to provide women with the option to balance life and work by having the opportunity to work from home during hours that don’t disrupt the family lifestyle. Becoming an Online Styilst does just that. It is the best of both worlds, everything is online so you can commit as much or as little as you like. You can work when the kids go to bed or nap during the day. Everything can be done online, including pop up shops, so there is no need to sacrifice evenings or weekends to host parties. Allison's Sorry Tank Review: I am wearing the size XL in this tank and I love the fit. The bright red is so beautiful and patriotic, perfect for Canada Day! I have a size 38D chest and the XL fit fine. This is my true size in tops. If you're super b***y, you can pair this with a sports bra underneath too! It would look great layered with either black or white! I've paired my look with Nothing But Comfort Capris and love this clean, crisp, bright look!

Allison's Let's Kick It Sneakers Review: I am wearing the sample size 8 in these where I am normally a 7.5. They fit but I did have a little room. I will stick with my true size 7.5. This new grey colour is amazing! It will match pretty much anything in your closet. I love the fact that they are so easy to wear having faux laces. Just pull them on and kick them off! The inner sole is so comfy... I am in love!

Kim's Sorry Tank Review: What better way to rep Canada Day than in this "Sorry Tank"?! For those who attended Refresh last year, this is the same tank as the "Limited Edition" tank. It is also the same tank as the "Blah blah blah, go workout" tank! So if you own either of those, the sizing in this tank will be the same. Fit wise, it's a little b***y! I am a 34C and wearing the size small here. It's not to say it doesn't fit me but it definitely pushes the b***s together a bit! If you're super b***y, you may want to size up. I totally love the rounded hem! It's super flattering and offers great coverage.

Kim's Begin Again / Begin Again Floral Dress Review: It's back!!! By seriously popular demand of course! Literally the most flattering dress I think we've had. Now that all your amazing IRL's are coming in I can say that for sure. Everyone looks like a million bucks in this dress!! The double added layer at the back, the crossed front, the short sleeves. This dress is perfection!! I am wearing the sample size small but bought this in a medium and loved the fit of it on me. Tons of IRL's in the app!

Kim's Cross Over Top Review: I forgot about this top!! It's super duper soft and the quality of the fabric is great. I love the little crisscross detailing, especially with the warmer weather coming. This top has great stretch and is perfect to tuck in and billow out with a pair of comfy jogger style pants like this. Even pj's! I am wearing the size small and love the fit.

Kim's Dots of Love Joggers Review: Add to bag, sold. Absolutely hands down the comfies of all comfies I own!!!!!!!! These have such a nice soft luxurious feel to them, I never want to take them off. I completely second what Christina says about the waistband being perfection. It doesn't dig in at all and it has a nice thick, soft band. The fact they have pockets is just the icing on the cake. The drawstring is functional as well! I am wearing the sample size medium and although they are loose and relaxed, I ultimately prefer this fit for lounging!

Christina's Dots of Love Joggers Review: Just Chill and Do You. I read that quote recently and it sang to my heart. Yes, yes I will just do me, in a ridiculously comfy, super soft, not too tight in the waist pair of lounge pants. Most days you can find me curled up on the couch with a laptop and no bra, let's be honest. No one has time for comfy pants that dig in. And that is why I fell instantly IN LOVE with these amazing pants. I particularly love that there is a cuff on the leg so I can push them up to be more of a capri, in case I get hot, or pull them straight to be a full length jogger. Which in Canada is super handy since we appreciate the full length to keep us warm 10 months of the year but jump at the opportunity to turn them into capris the second the sun comes out! I am wearing the medium and these fit amazing in the waist. I have a fair bit of room in the hips, bum and thigh area. I would size down to a small but I also love the slouchiness of the whole fit. It’s a real toss up for me!

Kim's Face the Sun Ring Review: These rings are super easy to wear as they are adjustable!! They aren't super stiff, they adjust really easily. I love the thicker style and the lightweight feel. The design has almost a floral or sunshine look to it. Super cute and so easy to pair with outfits!

Kim's Ties On the Prize Dress Review: We had this dress last year and it was a HIIIT! The material is so amazing you guys, it's like a brushed, super soft fabric with lots of stretch. The amazing thing about these dresses is the ties in the back completely untie so you can tie it around a bra to hide it. I've wrapped it around the bra in one of the photos. The back of the skirt part of the dress is super stretchy which I love too!! I am wearing the size small and it fits perfectly!!

Christina’s Ties On the Prize Dress Review: I think this may have been our most popular Maxi last year so we had to bring it back!!! There is so much good about this piece but hands down, my favourite part, is that the back tie covers your bra!!! This was a collaboration between us and Vanilla Bay and we made sure this detail was not over looked. You can even tie the knot around your bra to keep it in place and ensure it never shows. I am wearing the sample size small in these photos but I would prefer a medium. I find it a little too tight in the chest and around the arms. I am so happy this piece is back, the new floral is gorgeous and the black, well...I can never say no to black.

Kim's Live Freely Bra Review: I am wearing the "One Size" bra and I LOVE IT! The cups are removable, which I love, and the straps are adjustable. I am very confident his will fit a wide range of sizes. It's a little longer in length, coming down to my rib cage, holding everything in nicely and covering those parts of my back I don't really like. It's incredibly stretchy and soft and I definitely have some extra room without it being too big. I am a 34C and this bra fits great. Because of the insane amount of stretch this will also fit a smaller chest comfortably. This is a total win!!!

Kim's Just One Glass Necklace Review: Is there a necklace more fitting? Probably not! This necklace is so cute, the little wine glass with the charm is so cute, it's a little cubic zirconia stone. This is such a good gift for a fellow wine drinker! The pendant isn't to big and flashy, it's the perfect dainty feminine necklace!

Christina's Live Freely Bra Review: This seamless bra is so fantastic!! And comfortable, like seriously comfortable. I am wearing the 1X and it‘s loose around the bottom but the cup fits perfect. This is exactly how I would expect a seamless bra to fit. There is no support. I repeat, no support. BUT that is not the point. This is about having a bit of structure and mostly comfort!!! Like seriously comfortable! I would recommend going on cup size for this one. I am above a D so I went with the 1X and it’s perfect!

Christina's What Kind of Mom Are You Top Review: This Mother's Day you can customize your shirt to describe the mom you feel best describes you. You can enter up to 16 characters before the word mom. Here are a few versions I came up with! The fit of this top is the bees knees. It is slouchy and can easily be worn off the shoulder. I love how it is a little fitted around the bottom and loose and slouchy through the rest of the top. It’s a soft cotton is 100% my new weekend top. Easy, comfy and flattering! I am wearing the size medium and it's the perfect fit for me!
