Hey everyone!
A lot has changed for me over the past few months.
In the beginning of May, I took a position as a Behavioral Interventionist working with little kids with autism. It's literally the best job I ever could have taken but also takes up a lot of my time.
I got accepted to university and have been sorting out course registration, student aid, and disability coverage.
I've also been planning my very first international trip which will be happening this summer!

With so much going on, Clouds and Cocoa has definitely fallen to the wayside. And unfortunately my life is only going to get busier when I begin fulltime school in September.
It breaks my heart but I can't commit to all the work that goes into running this wonderful shop.
I'll still be on this Instagram account (I may even post more without the pressure of increasing sales lol), but my Etsy (and custom orders) will be closed beginning July 1.

However the good news is that everything in my shop is currently 50% off!
If you've ever hesitated from purchasing something from me, now is the time to jump on it.
You'll also be supporting me as I head to uni this fall which is much appreciated ☺️

Big Announcements for CloudsandCocoa!!

# 1 Everything in my store is 40% off. Stuffies, baby clothes, scarves, everything. I never do sales but this feels right as I need a turn over to make room for new items. If you've ever had your eye on something in my shop now is the time to get it!!

# 2 Custom orders are open again! Not sure if this is the right time and they might close pretty quickly depending on my schedule but I've really missed crocheting for people. So if you have any upcoming events like a baby shower or kids birthday, now is a great time to order a really personal and special gift! Simply message me to work up a custom order :)

My last post on this account was 4 months ago and guess what? That's okay. We live in such a public centered world, so sometimes it's okay to not be constantly entertaining people, or gaining followers, or showcasing every aspect of your life.
It's okay to take breaks if that's what you need.

Over my four month non-post time, I still crocheted nearly constantly. I made two blankets, two toques, a scarf, a cardigan, two dog sweaters, a dog pillow, a pair of gloves, with a partial sweater on the go. And most of those projects were simply for me. It's great running a business, and I love making things for other people but in this moment, I've had to prioritize having a hobby again. And sometimes it's a bit frivolous. And guess what, that's also okay.

That all being said, my shop is still up and running. It's full of so many adorable items that I'd love for you to check out. And I really hope to get back into custom orders and shop updates soon. But for now, I'm just crocheting and that's okay ❤️

Just realized I haven't shared this little guy yet 😐
This Badger was a total fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants make and I love how it turned out!! He's so completely different from the usual plushies you see in stores these days.

We had a black bear in our backyard today which made me realize that I never shared pictures of this little guy! He's much cuter than a real life bear which I personally find terrifying 😂 Look at his adorable tail!!

This little fox is definitely the crowd favourite of the woodland animal update, especially since he's already been shipped to his forever home! ❤️

Writing this caption is painful because I was out all day today and my little introvert battery is draaaaaained. But in good news, I went to Michael's and got new paint, yarn, and some super cute ceramic pumpkins which I will post on my story later 😍
