Part-Time Sales Associate

Linda’s Quilt Shoppe | Sewing Machine Warehouse is looking for a part-time Sales Associate, primarily Saturdays, with extra availability to cover vacations and the occasional “I’m sick and definitely not coming in today” situation being a BIG bonus. 😉

And honestly… we’re looking for someone who wants to learn, stay busy, have fun and become part of our slightly quirky team. 😊

What does the job involve?

✂️ Making every customer feel welcome and acknowledged
🧵 Helping customers choose fabrics and sewing supplies
🎨 Cutting fabric and keeping things organized
🛍️ Helping customers find what they need
💰 Working with our POS and handling sales
✨ Keeping busy and jumping in wherever needed

What we're looking for…

You don’t need to know everything about sewing — we can teach you! Sewing and sales experience are definitely an asset, but what matters most is that you’re:

✔️ Eager to learn
✔️ Friendly and approachable
✔️ Reliable and willing to work
✔️ Comfortable staying busy
✔️ A team player
✔️ Able to laugh and enjoy yourself while you work!

And one very important qualification…

You’ll need to be able to handle our staff’s sense of humour. 😂

We like to work hard, help our customers, have a few laughs and keep things interesting around here. If that sounds like your kind of workplace, we’d love to hear from you!

A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to The Firekeepers Women’s Society!

We were thrilled to help them get set up with two customer favourites — the Janome HD5000 sewing machine and Baby Lock Vibrant serger!

When they said they were ready to get sewing, we jumped into action! We rushed to get everything processed and out the door so these machines could get where they needed to go and start creating.

We can’t wait to see all the wonderful projects that come from your new machines!
