Honoured to attend the CNIB Connect the Dots Conference here in Kelowna today!
As an optometrist, opportunities like this are invaluable. I had the privilege of learning about new tools and services available to better support patients living with vision loss and low vision in our community – and left inspired to bring that knowledge back to our patients.

2016 truly feels like a lifetime ago.

It was my first introduction to the beautiful Okanagan, which I’m now so privileged to call home.

It also marked the beginning of my final year of Optometry at the University of Waterloo—bittersweet, as I was more than ready to begin my lifelong dream career, yet it was so hard to say goodbye to so many friends.

These photos remind me just how far I’ve come and fill me with gratitude for the beautiful souls I’ve met along the way.
