We found Teddybear Australian Labradoodles | Teddy while navigating broken hearts. Grieving the loss of our very loyal Murphy Doo - we truly weren’t sure we were ready. Our daughter who is autistic started saying things that indicated she really needed a pal by her side. The two of them had grown up together with being only 7 months apart. We all lost our sweet Doodle Bug but Remi lost her best friend. 💔
The more we learned about the breed - Australian Labradoodle - and discovered that the origin of the breed was bred for therapy- we couldn’t deny the pull. We researched. We found a few breeders in Ontario. Teddy was close here in Kingston, but it wasn’t the convenience that sealed the deal- it was Teddy herself.
Communicating with Teddy, was evident that she was passionate about her business. The website is beautiful, the time that is taken- to create not only a brand- but to share her love of her dogs & pups is so very evident.
Her kindness, understanding and patience walking us through the process was incredible. We shared our concerns & wishes, including both our fam & shop dynamics. Seeing the care that Teddy & her sweet fam gave to all her pups & watching the other growing litters - it wasn’t long before we made up our minds & opened our hearts wide.
Then along came Scout - formerly known as Buzz (in case you wanna check out previous pics on their Instagram!)
His coming home date was ironically close to our daughter’s 10th birthday & so we decided to keep him a surprise!
Happy Birthday Remi. Scout is now by your side for all the adventures that come our way & it kinda feels like a match made in heaven. Perhaps our crazy Murph had something to do with that (seems Teddy was in on it- she just knew the best match for us!)
We trusted in the process & we are SO glad we did! We are all in love & if you’ve had a pup/dog before you know it’s unconditional.
