Heading to the Kingston Winter Antiques Show this weekend, February 7 & 8! Government steamship S. S. Stanley painted by Charles S. Fraser. The Stanley was an ice breaking ferry that plied the Northumberland Straight between 1888 and 1909. She was named after the sixth prime minister of Canada, Lord Stanley, after whom the Stanley cup was named.

Great Canadiana always surfaces at The Kingston Winter Antiques show! This 19th century kitchen table with a double stretcher was featured in the Heritage of Upper Canadian Furniture by Howard Pain. Plate #10. Check it out next weekend Saturday, February 7 & 8.
