My name is Shan, and I am the owner and seamstress behind Shan Stitches. I grew up surrounded by handcrafts and have been sewing since I was a child. Over the last 15 years, I have honed my skills, attended fashion school, and worked in alterations shops before setting out to start my own business. While my background is in clothing, I have expanded into drapery, upholstery, and more recently brid

al alterations. I am happy to serve the Kingston and surrounding area and to provide a safe, supportive and inclusive environment to all people. I offer pickup and delivery services and I have a drop off location at Loads of Fun Laundromat in Kingston’s West End. I offer quick turnaround time and reasonable prices and a wide array of services including (but not limited to!) alterations, mending, household sewing and custom sewing.
